Theme:

The Feast of Lycean is a well known legend from Greek Mythology, where the Arcadian King Lycean attempted to trick Zeus into eating the flesh of man in hopes of destroying the God. Zeus discovered the ruse and cursed Lycean to bear the face of a Wolf and suffer from his curse. In the Shadowed world of the People, however, there is another legend of Lycean.

Centuries ago, the city of Athens held a shadow war between the Packs of the People. The Blood toll was high and many good Uratha lost their lives in needless battle. It took one lone Elodoth to stand above the violence and calm the raging storm. His real name is lost in time, as well as his Tribe, but what is known is that he took the name Lycean and was of the Half-Moon. The legends tell of a young Uratha who received a vision of a unified Athens, one where Uratha would come from the world around and make peace in spite of feuds or slights, respecting the TUR and supping together and trading tales. Over time, Lycean gathered more Uratha to his cause and eventually brought peace to Athens, holding a celebration where all People of Athens are invited which became a regular holiday.

The Mood:

This year, The Feast of Lycean is meeting in the Manor of The Champions of Aais, TUR has been declared and all People once again invited. This year, unlike years in the past, the Packs of Athens have put the call out to all the Uratha outside of their city in hopes of bringing their city of peace to other areas across the globe. They have put out the call that any who need help financing the trip may contact them and they will help them pay their way.

Travel Restrictions:

The Champions of Aais have taken care of most travel risks for those coming to or leaving Athens for this gather. The only exceptions are those who attempt to bring weapons into the country. Please register all attempts to bring weapons into the country with a narrator, who may choose to run a scene based on the method chosen by the PC.

Proxy Rules:

Please see Universal VSS.

Any Fetishes/Talons/Totems should be listed on the character sheet along with the needed information on the items (what they do, what are the drawbacks, etcetera).

Storyteller Empowerment in Mass Combat Scenes:

Be respectful to any and all Storytelling staff during the course of this game. Disruptive players will be given one documented warning before being removed from the scene.

Please see Universal VSS for further information.
