If you’d like to help out, we’re looking for volunteers for all positions. Some of these require online presence at some point during the convention, others only need regular email access. So don’t let online accessibility stand in the way of volunteering. Since this is a globally run convention, all positions are worthy of national prestige.
We are looking for:
**IRC** Contact Morte Oakley, morte@amentet.com.au
Assistant lead: As op (below). In addition:
-ability to make decisions on the fly
-availability to maintain high online presence during convention
-availability to be 'on call' should an emergency occur with another team member
-other duties as required
Channel ops/ layout narrators.
-ability to keep your cool, to perform well under pressure, and to be polite and courteous in the face of tired cammies
-availability to spend 8 hours a day online, for four straight days, and to keep your concentration and/or cool (can be one 8 hour block, or multiple smaller blocks, timetable to be determined)
-at least a basic knowledge of IRC, how it works, what the basic commands are
-ability to work in a team

-familiarity with the membership handbook and conflict resolution

Narrators
-familiarity with the rules and overseeing challenges

-availability to maintain high online presence during convention
-strong familiarity with the Camarilla organization
-interest in helping new members understand and be active in the convention
-willingness to follow up with new members post-convention to help them integrate into local domains
**Check-in** Daniel Tan, nocamdan@gmail.com
-possess working knowledge of at least 2 venues
-either prior knowledge of, or willingness to learn how to use a Wiki
-willingness to work towards checking in characters for the two weeks prior and also during the event

-willingness to assist in overseeing an auction/raffle, including obtaining items
