What is GIR?

GIR stands for Global Independant Regions, and includes everywhere that has a Camarilla presence that isn't large enough to be a full national affiliate. Currently, this includes Greece, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Iraq/Kuwait/Qatar, and Indonesia.

My character doesn't know Greek. Will this be a problem?

Most of the other PC's don't know Greek either, and since they're the ones you'll be generally talking to, this isn't likely to be an issue.

Thursday is soft RP. Fri-Sun are fully sanctioned hard RP.

What's the prestige award for volunteering.

It is standard prestige awards averageing 5/hr. As this is a global convention, awards will generally be national and fall into the convention catagory.

The schedules are in GMT. How do I convert?

If you look at the top of the schedule, you'll note a pulldown menu. Click on this to change the timetables to your local time. EST is GMT -5. If you don't know your time zone in relation to GMT, you can use the clock function on your computer. Double click the clock, then click on time zones.
