Theme:
It's been over a year since the onset of Winter. For the Fae of Concordia, a great deal has changed. Glamour grows ever scarcer, the virtues have begun to loose their allure, and life is quickly losing purpose. One day there are fomorians on the horizon, the next evil bug-like creatures from the depths of the Dreaming. You lose faith and trust in your friends just as quickly as you make deals with your enemy. Nothing is clear anymore; it's all become shades of gray.
Some Changelings choose to ignore the changes that are going on around them, attempting to go on about their courtly affairs as if it were still Summer. Others find themselves in the depths of depression, finding that each endeavor to save their way of life only ends in more tragedy. Still others continue to fight the hopeless battle, guided by the belief that someday we will find the gates of Arcadia and a New Spring.
The Mood:
The underlying mood presented for this game is underlying hope. Yes, this is an impossible fight- but to give in to Apathy means to give in to Banality. Fighting to save the Dream, on whatever side you choose, is the only way to see it survive. Your actions will bring about change, and lack thereof will bring more of the same. It's your time to choose: Fight or Die.
Travel Restrictions:
None- please, come and play!
Proxy Rules:
Proxies are not possible in this venue given that it is the only venue still existent in its continuity.
Items for Lead Venue Storyteller Approval:
The Dreaming venue for VirtuaCon '06 uses the Camarilla rules addendum, and all appropriately sanctioned materials mentioned therein. Any item not covered in these sources is considered to be an approval item requiring Top approval.
All characters will be assumed to have full glamour and willpower for the first game. All PCs will be at full health levels upon entering play the first night, unless otherwise pre-arranged.
All players wishing to pre-cast cantrips and hang them with the Time realm MUST do so with either the Venue Lead or another designated assistant ("Red Shirt" ST).
Characters may carry up to twice their permanent Glamour in Dross on their persons. All Dross must be checked in at character check in and have the electronic signature of the approving VST. Due to the current scarcity of Glamour, the Venue Lead has a right to question how the dross was obtained. Such information may be used in plots.
Characters of all types within the Dreaming venue will be appropriate at the event.
Other items are listed in the Universal VSS.
Mass Destruction Effects:

Storyteller Empowerment in Mass Combat Scenes:
The Lead ST reserves the right to mediate any mass combats in the Dreaming venue to insure flexibility and realism as deemed appropriate for the scene.
